I made this from a blank (DYO) spiral notebook from Oriental Trading. Rather than fussing with trying to cover all the way to the binding, I left a bit of the white showing and used the ribbon to "hide" the fact that the Lilac CS is simply glued on. What can I say? I'm the epitome of the lazy stamper!

I love this. I like the the look of spiral notebooks but it is a bit of a challeng to hide our little secrets. I do think that this solution is quite clever. Thanks for the inspiring new idea.

Love it - sometimes it is better to just add on - rather than take the whole thing apart! Still shaking my head as to why paint prints was left out of the catty!
I LOVE THIS !!! HOW PRETTY!!! love the colors and the ribbons.
FYI - when I make these I take a needlenose pliers and gently
"undo" both ends and then I'm able to "uncoil" the coil and then
I use the original cover to make my own cover (by tracing of course)
stamp the new cover up -then take the old cover and place ontop
of the new cover paperclipped -then take your hand held 1/8th inch
circle punch and punch the same little holes through to your newly stamped
cover....then you can discard the old cover your new stamped cover
truly looks like it came that way. Does this make sense??
But I have to make some now and add ribbons like you did -- that's
just too cool.
