I was asked by a coworker to make an upbeat 50th b'day card for a friend who is going to be having a big b'day celebration with about 30 people later this month. He said the friend is into planes -
So I used today's Ways to Use it Challenge for this card - I know you don't usually use ribbon on a guy's card - but it seemed to work here looking sort of like an aviator's award or something??? particularly with the pleating..

this is just perfect for your task, Julia! I really like the little man papers and the pleated ribbon is nice as a masculine touch. So nice to see you back here in the gallery!

Wonderful use of the challenge perimeters. I love how you did your ribbon treatment. What an inspirational design. I wanted to do this challenge, but didn't have the time. I love pleats!! tfs
