 | | This pansy card is for today's Ways to Use it Challenge (WT230), Just Pleat It, to include pleats in our projects.
To make my pleats, I cut a strip of copy paper and dragged my SU certainly celery ink pad across it. Even though I have certainly celery cardstock I could have used for this, I figured it would be much easier to fold and pleat thinner paper.
I colored in the pansy with colored pencils and sponged lavender sachet ink around the edges of the oval die cut.
The sentiment is from the Flourishes Strawberries set and the corners were stamped from an image from the Basic Grey Insignia set. I love these corners!
This card will be my birthday card for my big sister, whose birthday is in just a few weeks. Her favorite flowers are pansies, so I think she will be pleased with this card!
Thanks for looking!
