This is the second time I have used TLC221, and this time around it was like cake! I struggled with the first one, but this one seemed to just come together, and I am thankful for that- this is for my friend Sharon, who retired this week. Sharon is a quilter, and now has time to do just that!
The sentiment is computer generated and reads
'I count the stitches, line by line and watch the thread record the time. Enjoy your days!'
The DP was stitched onto the CS and adhered with super tack. The hardware is jewelry box fasteners from Orchard Supply.
Thanks for looking!

Woo Hoo, Sharon is gonna love this one! (Anti-P I N K goggles applied) And congratulations to her and wishing happy retirement. I think I need to check this technique out too but when I don't know. I will be on a dead run this week for sure. Am puppy sitting my sister's tea cup yorkie while she takes a well deserved vacation in New Mexico. I'm green!!!! Beautiful card.

I just love that stitching on this card!!! I was wondering how you created such fancy looking faux stitching and then, BAM.....there it was.....it's real!!!! The only way to recreate this would be to actually use the sewing machine that I set up in my stamping room for stitching on cards. Heaven knows I don't use it for anything else, and I have TWO of the dumb things!!! Sheesh!!! Well, anyway, this is just gorgeous and I know she loved it!!! Awesome card!!

This card is so pretty - the DP/images are wonderful and the sentiment is perfect. It makes me want to retire and take up quilting so you will send me a card like it! Beautiful job but looks very scary to do and time consuming (but then those are the cards that really come out best don't you think?).
