When I read the challenge I thought of a project that I saw on Sunday. It was a video tutorial on using office file folders to make a little portfolio. After murdering 2 file folders. (They were scored, cut and glued before ending up dead on my desk) So plan B. Because I work with office material I had a lot to choose from. I had recieved a package of samples awhile back. Things I didn't have a use for with my work. I kept them though thinking I will use this someday. I used a funky paper clip. You can see one of the un altered clips at the side. I covered my altered clip with blue cardstock. I glued it to the clip with Aleene's Tacky Glue. I first thought of adding a butterfly to the clip, but I had my quilling materials on my desk, so I started to quill some roses. I made a pink one and then thought... I need some red roses. After looking at the altered clip I realized that I would have to be sending this to one of my Splitcoast friends who LOVES RED... So I printed the sentiment on white cardstock. matted it with red and put it on a white cardstock base. I faux stitched around the edges. About as CAS as you can get. So to my RED loving friend... this is going in the mail to you today!

You are so smart to be able to quill. I have to try that sometime. Like your faux stitching and your clips. I'm thinking I know who is getting this card. I know at least one RED lover who has already submitted a card for this challenge.
