We hosted an impromptu birthday party for my neighbor this weekend, and I needed a card fast! Fortunately, I had made the sparkly border a loooong time ago, and could just plop it down and bling it up really quick!
The border is made by stamping the flowers on a transparency. Then flip it over and color the flowers in. After that is dry, coat the colored side with crystal effects, sprinkle on glitter, shake off the excess and immediately back it with white tissue paper.
The butterfly was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with ink & and watercolor pen. Then I used stickles for some extra sparkle on the wings.

Love this. Its so pretty with the contrasting color/paper and I see you worked a few different techniques to achieve this beauty. Well, it was not for nothing. You created a great card.
