It is a widely accepted symbol of cheerfulness, happiness, prosperity, hearth and home, good health, new births, the renewal of springtime, etc. Virtually any positive sentiments may be attached to the bluebird.

I have had this little bird image for awhile. I got it in an image swap. I colored it with prisma colored pencils. I masked the image and used chalks to do the greenery behind him. I used leaf dp for the two little vertical panels. I finished the card up with a little quilled flourish at the bottom.
