What a day! Started with big sun and now it looks like rain again! Nature... Which brings me to the subject today, well, it's inspired by a frog teapot you can find here:
but it continues with Froggy and Groggy on their first date. They decided to try the new "ride". Well that's what the young frogs call it, it's Mothermark's lilly pad pond and of course every teenager frog knows that that's where it's happening. Don't they look in love. Froggy is sporting his brand new tie and Groggy, well she's wearing the necklace she bought just for this occasion. Ya think he's going to ask her to go steady? From the smiles on their little green faces, it's a yes!
Of course the ladies at the teapot are talking snacks to go with the green theme. What about lime jello, I love it!
My card also uses Betty's colours for this week's challenge. Thank you Betty, had a little trouble with the apricot, used marigold morning. And loosely based on Krystie Lee's sketch for the CAS. Thank you for sharing your sketch with us.
Thank you all for looking and enjoy.
Note: The images are from the gift set Deborah (Debzi333) sent me, it's called organic grace SU and the darling little frogs are a gift from Ina (yellowrose46). Thank you girls!

Aren't Froggy and Groggy the cutest little pair. Hope it's more than just summer love for them. What I like most of all is that dainty flower growing in the corner of your card, so pretty!

Those two froggies are so cute! First date - wow. Has anyone ever been on a first date at one of the tea parties? Sweet story too.
