This card was requested by our building rep. for one of the men living here. We had a small old windmill in front of our building that needed repainting and he took it upon himself to redue it the other day. The windmill is done in red so hence the theme. As thanks I made up this card for everyone in our apartment building to sign to give to him.
The center Ruby Red distressed panel was put through the Big Shot using the Sizzix Distressed background plate, sanded it lightly, then with a sponge lightly applied Basic Black ink following the grain of the embossing.
The triple matted picture of the toolbox is put on using dimentionals.

I also like the texture embossing plate - of course I am prejudice as I just uploaded one using the same texture plate -- all great minds think alike huh?? LOL It is really a nice card, and he will love it for sure.

Kathleen, This turned out real nice. I would love to see this in person so I could check out the distressing. As I said earlier this afternoon, you really do a great job at selecting your color schemes. P.S. sorry I didn't call you but got caught up looking at all my SU stuff I ordered earlier this month. TFS
