We had to use an image that in real life would have a engine.
-Cut the oval mask (both pieces will be used), I used Nestabilites. Save both pieces because theyÂ’ll be used for this card. I also store them for future use.
-I set up where the mask will be located and lined the car up over it using a stamp positioner and itÂ’s easy to left the edge of the positioner guide and pull the mask from under it to stamp the image.
-Cute the car mask (which I store with the set for future use) and place the over the stamped image and return the oval mask to the card front.
-Stamp on the palm trees then the sun using the rock and roll technique. I stamped it again using a resist ink but I think it would have looked better had I clear embossed it so the blue couldnÂ’t have slightly changed the color.
-Use a straight line of paper to cover below the sky area and sponge on the blue.
-Tear a piece of paper in two (both pieces will be used) and cover the beach area and also the sky area with the straight line of paper - sponge on the water area.
-Switch to the opposite piece of torn paper to cover the water and sponge on the beach sand.
-Remove the oval mask and attach the solid oval over what has bee sponged and stamp on the background.
-Remove the mask and color in the car, I used Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps using the Gamsol Technique.
-Add the accessories and assemble the card.

Great card - it is very nostalgic. The colors are great as is the frame. You did a very good job on this one.

This is terrific, Roxie!! I love how you created your scene--super job sponging. That background is awesome, too. What a great choice for this challenge
