This is my card for tomorrow's Fun on Friday challenge at Christian Paper Crafts where we were to use acetate on our craft projects. This card serves 2 purposes. Obviously it's for the challenge but it was made specifically for the dental assistant who had to deal with me while not medicated at the dentist. I have a horrendous fear of dentists and getting work done. I thought that I could handle what they were doing which was a simple replacement of a temporary crown with a permanent one, and I could have done that. My heart's pounding the entire time and I'm ready to jump out of that chair and run but I had my big girl panties on! Then the permanent crown doesn't fit and all of this goo starts going in my mouth for more impressions and then I just told her to stop and I'm taking a Xanax. Bless her heart. She was so busy but gave me a half hour to let it kick in, and it did, thank God, and we got our new impressions. The next time I go in to try to get the permanent crown on, I am pre-medicating no matter what! They had to put the temporary crown back on and I came home and floated around on my raft in the pool sleeping off the Xanax. Now all is well and back to normal. So that's my story and here is my special card for that very patient and kind dental assistant.
Thank you for looking and many blessings to you. Additional details and close-ups are on my blog at www.cindycoutts.com.
