I used the sketch found here: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
and this week's teapot challenge found here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
(If you are not acquainted with mothermark's creativity and story telling, be sure to check it out.)
I have resisted the teapot challenges as my creativity (and supplies) cannot match that of most participants. However, I could not resist the reference to escargots and the Tour de France.
Here is Riley's story:
He has been a bit late all along, hence the Thursday post for Tuesday's challenge. He probably took a tumble, as evidenced by the smudged edges and the lop sided sign. (He may even have fallen into the trellis like guard rail - he was probably dreaming of the finale - riding around the Champs Elysees, near the Arc de Triomphe, then relaxing with a cafe au lait.***) It is also possible that he took the tumble while running over one of those missing snails.
He should have earned a green, yellow, or even polka dot jersey, but his cycle just did not match the competition.
*** How could I forget? That table and chairs is part of the setting for the TEA PARTY.
