Fuzzy Wuzzy was a snail ...
Fuzzy Wuzzy has a tail ...
Fuzzy Wuzzy is happy mail! (snail mail?)
Yeah, yeah, I'm a little punchy tired ... can you tell?
Happy Tuesday everyone! I've been absent from cardmaking and am having serious withdraw'ls over here!
This is my participation in Mothermark's tea party this week, using the sneak preview, because we all know by now that I'm a cheater. Back door for me.
I downloaded the image from the internet, flocked the snail image, added rhinestone hearts for the antenae and google eyes.
Today's Try a New Technique Challenge included fabric flowers, so I had to play along with that one, too (textile freak-a-zoid that I are)! I left the felt behind and used fabric from a wallpaper sample book. It didn't diecut quite as easily as promised, so I did a bit of cutting and VOILA, my flower!
I added squiggly yarn, another rhinestone, some snail trail dp and am calling it a card.

Fuzzie Wuzzie crossed the road!
Fuzzie Wuzzie followed a toad!
When they reached the other side!
He was told that someone lied!
He's always thought he wazza bear.
Its no wonder he's got no hair!
And that explains his funny tail!
Yippee! Yahoo! He's really a snail!
Hi M! Good to see you here! Hey, I must have been locked in my stamp room making teapot cards, I didn't know Fuzzie Wuzzie wazza a snail? Snort!!
This is the cutest darn card with the heart shaped blingy antenae and the little fuzzie body! The diamonds will shimmer like a bike reflector and he will be safe crossing the road and really will be happy mail! Thanks for coming.....glad you could make it. Hold on to your handle-bars, we're coming up on a rough spot in the road!

Man, there I was lying awake last night wondering about how to successfully do a white-on-white snail. I should have saved myself the effort and stuck with colour -this is just lovely. I really like your snail-trail DP, spotted that straight off, after the cute snail.I like the squiggly yarn, too - more snail trails. Hmm - my fabric cut pretty well, and being raw silk I wasn't too sure. Not to say it was a clean cut, but it didn't really require any cutting as such, just encouraging with the scissors .

Oh I see this smart fuzzy looking Whuzzy joining the party and bumping into Sabine the snail. Hope Lilette can get the hint and hitch a ride home. LOL
This is a very handsome snail and with a heart like that, he's bound to catch a mate. Awesome card now M. Love it and the sketch too. Always nice to see you join the party!

I did a Stamp Muse search for a line art image last night. I could not find a good snail. This is adorable M. I love the blingy antenae.. Super job. The fabric flower is the perfect embellishment for this snail. TFS
