Here's my first Christmas card for 2009! I created it for Cute Card Thursday which was "Xmas in July". And I used the sketch from Stamp Something Challenge. Love a good sketch challenge!!
Man... those gems on the main image look dark red, don't they? But honestly... they are like a peridot color!! Hmmmmmm....
This is the first time I've used this adorable little House Mouse stamp. But what HM stamp isn't adorable??
I added SU crystal effects on the mistletoe plant and white berry. And the main image is popped up for some dimension.
BTW... The big mouse puckering up is colored with copics warm grays, the shy mouse with the cool grays and the mistletoe holder with E31 and 33. I wanted to use both grays side-by-side to get a better idea how they differ. Well... there's not MUCH difference. But to me, the warms have just a skooch more of a brown tone to 'em. Now I know. : )
Thanks for stoppin' by!
