Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Tracy Porter. Wow...This site is FULL of inspiring clothing! I chose this dress as inspiration.
I LOVE the pattern along the bottom of the dress and realized that the PERFECT stamps to recreate that look were from Rubber Stamp Tapestry's Vintage Crochet. I stamped the images in VersaMark and embossed them in Brown-bottom row, Copper-center lrow and Gold-top row. Next, I sponged in VERSAColor in Bark, Larel Leaf and Topaz. This is the patterned layer.
For the scene, I stamped the branch from Deep Winter Morning in Bark repeatedly to create the grasses. I embossed in clear. Next, I sponged in Larel Leaf and then Topaz for the sky. The sun was made by punching a 3/4" hole in scrap and masking. The butterflywas stamped in Bark and embossed. Next, I sponged on VersaColor Celadon for the center, Narcisus for the wings and then sponged in Topaz just along the edges. This image is 3/4" and VERY easy to sponge! I cut it out and adhered it to the scene.
