This card is for one of the VSN challenges: to take our ordinary hole punch and go crazy, sort of like swiss cheese.
So out came the punch, and I created a background using cameo coral, really rust with a polished stone technique. And then I went crazy around the border. I placed a piece of cameo coral behind the punched out section to get the colour pops the easy way. I then took a piece of kraft paper, and made my own stripes with chocolate chip, old olive, really rust and cameo coral. And I just hand cut out the large scallops and then punched out using different sizes of holes to match the sizes of the scallops. Throw in the "Love ya' Bunches" stamp set, a little sponging and markering and some chocolate chip ribbon, and you have my take on swiss cheese.
Now, somebody pass the fondue. I'm getting hungry!
Let me know what you think.
