The challenge over on the Shirley's 2 Girls blog (http://s2gpapercraftingcontest.blogspot.com) is to create a Christmas card that is not the normal A2 size. I decided to try making a Christmas ornament card.
Unfortunately, I found out that my circle nestabilities will NOT cut through 2 sheets of cardstock. I had folded over a sheet of burgundy cs, and tried and tried and tried to get my circle nestie to cut through both layers, but I had to take my scissors and finish cutting the areas that did not cut through on the second sheet.
Continuing on with the card, I layered it with a smaller circle of Wassail dsp, and then embossed the "Believe" with gold ep. The top of the ornament is a rounded tab punch folded over.

Holly, this is so pretty! Love the DP and the gold embossing is the perfect finishing touch to a totally elegant card. Sorry for the trouble with the Nesties. I've found that if I run my nesties, when cutting through two pieces of CS, through two or three times, flipping the plates around alternatively so that both ends get cut. Doesn't always work, but it's worth a try, right! Thanks for playing S2G Twisted Thursday!!
