I made this card as a tribute to my good friend and dt sister, Judy (Joy in a Jar). Yesterday was her birthday and one of her card layouts was featured for SC237 so I thought I would make this one for her. Since her favorite color is pink, I made it pink. (Sorry, I didn't have any appropriate giraffes, Judy)
I also used today's challenge "Doubles", Flutter By Wednesday (to include butterflies or fairies) and Creative Inspirations Challenge to sew on a card. I doubled my butterflies. These butterflies were silver but since I wanted to accent with gold (to represent Judy's heart of gold), I embossed them in gold.
The image is from Our Daily Bread Designs from the Mother Teresa set. I thought this was appropriate since she is my fellow "breadstick" for the ODBD team.
Here is to you Judy! Hope you had a wonderful day!! Sorry I wasn't able to complete it yesterday or better yet before I left for vacation. Better late than never right?!

Stunning. She will love it!
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
