This is a sample I made for Door County Rubber Stamps & Scrapbooking, using all their stamps.
I stamped the faux postage grid, masked it, then used a dark blue chalk on the windows. I stamped the images, using post-its to mask neighboring windows to prevent over stamping.
Then I used a white eraser to remove the dark blue chalk from the images. I used a white cs with texture, so I couldn't erase as cleanly as when I use smooth cardstock. I decided it was okay that there's a blue tint to the snowmen. It's night time, so they'd have a bluish look anyway.
I colored the images with colored pencils, mounted on dark blue cs and edged with a silver sharpie.
The image of the snowman wearing a jacket has snowflakes falling. I used a glue pen to dot glue on the flakes and used glitter.
I stamped the verse with silver, clear embossed it, trimmed and edged with silver sharpie.
I stamped a snowflake with silver, ramdomly, all over the bg paper, then clear embossed, and edged with silver sharpie.
Mounted the verse and snowmen to bg using pop dots.
