I'm Ba-aaaaaaaaccccck! See the kitty's frazzled eyes??? That's pretty much how I have looked after all the preparing for my son's grad party!! But, I survived... and it is OVER, and I am slowly getting back to normal here.
Cindy was very smart to feature this teapot of mine today. She knew it was the push that I needed to get back in my craft room!! This teapot was a gift to me from my in-laws a couple years ago. They know that I love cats, and I often get "kitty" things for gifts. Since this was such an unusual themed teapot, I just HAD to send Cindy a picture of it!! Check out the fun here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
Potluck, huh?? I have alot of leftover Tacos from the grad party!! But I decided to bring dessert instead!! Cupcakes seem to be popular with this group, and that is what I did. Just have to make sure there is plenty of dessert!!!
When I was thinking of what cat image I wanted to use, I went right to the RAK that Peggy (marilynprestonn) sent me for my birthday. There were alot of stamped cat images, and this one was just perfect for the teapot!!! Thank you Peggy!!!!!

Me thinks this is the head chef after 6 months of training with the new kids! If they can't cook something as simply as cupcakes, how are the gonna demand the big bucks for catering for the stars! Who's gonna pay the interest on the loan he took out for equipment that he secured with his house? Who is gonna cook for all of the events he has lined up this time of year, the weddings, graduation parties, summer picnics and summer dances? Hey, you'd be frazzled too! I thought the ecomony was bad, no its the CAT-erers that are bad!
You are right, talk about a perfect, perfect image for this teapot! Thanks for sending me the picture. I will be mailing you my card so you can have a three-some! Hugs. Welcome back!

Kris, I am glad you survived the Grad party. I bet you had a great time. I love the way your kitty's eyes look. There are days I am sure my eyes look the same way. Those cupcakes look so yummy. I especially like the one with the cherry on top. I got dibs on that one. When my kids want to claim something they lick it. Do your boys ever do that? Glad you are back. Guess what Walmart has the back to school supplies in stock....

I bet youe exhausted from all that party work!!...my friend had a grad party for her son, and she and her mother did all the cooking. They live in the neighborhood that I grew up in. I think everyone from there was there plus half the town. So I know the work put into those.

The look in this cat's eyes resembles my own look when faced with yummy cupcakes (his figure rather looks like mine too)! The card is truly special and very well done. Your color choices and the stamp combine to make one very fun birthday card.
Thanks for the teapot inspiration!

I brought Chef know-it-all to do food inspecting.. with so many people and so many different dishes He will have his hands full sampling each one.. heee.... don't bring food.. but eat a lot.. I think this Chef has a racket going for sure..on the pretence of making sure everything is safe to eat.. hee.
thanks for sharing your fun teapot for us to get our inspirations from today! what fun!

Ooooo...crazy eyes! Love it- perfect for this bunch too! Glad you survived the party, and even had time to make yummy cuppers too! What a woman. I know, the CAT-erer helped, but I know you had to get all the things down from the cupboard for him, huh? Wonderfully fun card! I loved the inspiration piece! TFS

I just love your whimisical tea pot. What a great gift from the in-laws.
Your card is just as cute as can be. That is such a perfect cat to use with it, too. His eyes are just having a hard time taking in all the going's on here at the tea party.
