Happy Saturday!
What a fun inspiration site! I was inspired by this Enchanted Forest Tutu. When I was 6, my mother had me take ballet (and tap, jazz and gymnastics) and I remember my first recital had us wearing tutus in this same color combo. The body of the tutu was made of some sort of fabric w/ metallic threads and it itched like crazy. I'm pretty sure our instructor got a kick out of watching a class of little ballerinas all twitching around on stage like they had itchy underwear. Some things I guess you just don't forget, lol.
And this is another sneak peek of new releases coming July 15 from Innovative Stamp Creations!
For this card, I used the new Australian Daisy Flourishing Ivy sheets. I stamped the three sizes of daisies onto vanilla c/s using the green inks. A little color was added using a water brush and the terra cotta ink. After cutting them out, I stacked them and attached them w/ an orange brad.
The vanilla bg was done using the faux embossing technique. The border was pierced and faux stitching was done w/ a white gel pen.
A number of layers were added (all papers by LYB). The flower was attached on top w/ some punched greenery and a little ribbon. A heart ghost shape was glued on top of the greeting.
Thanks so much for looking!
My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

GASP! OMG, Julie! This is beyond gorgeous, girl! I love the colors, dimension, sketch design, and your outrageously gorgeous floral array! This design and flowers would make a terrific Christmas card, too.
