I played from this cute photo and toned my colors down just a little. I also liked this MotherÂ’s Day garden bag which inspired the use of the designer paper.
-The Spellbinder flower was sponged with ink.
-The leaves are also Spellbinder and the stem is a ¼” strip of paper that I scored with the Scor-Pal.
-The flower center is cut with Spellbinder Nestabilities and I colored the edge with marker before added the glue and Flower Soft.
-The bees are colored with Prismacolor pencils, cut out and glued to the card.
-Faux stitching is done with the Stampin Up mat pack and Marvy fine tip marker.
-The pink borders are cut ¼” wide and taped together with the paper to form on layer for easier assembly.
-The envelope is scored after the embossing to hide the ugly line. I raise the back flap so it isnÂ’t included in the embossing process.

I love how you used the flower soft on this card. I have brought so many pots of it but never know how to use it, this is a fabulous idea. Thanks for sharing!!.
