Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supplies challenge: Crop it...You had to stamp an image 3 times and crop it, only brads for embellishments.
I have a children's story I wrote YEARS ago about a cat in a Palm Tree. The title is "Speedy the Cat Gets Sandy Paws!" It's about a cat who goes on vacation with his family and escapes onto the beach...He ends up in a cluster of Palms and falls asleep...the native cats find him and put him in the....HEY!!! I'm not telling you ALL of the story...LOL! The scenes in the card show early morning to about 11AM in "Speedy the Cat" time! Notice the high and low tide!
I stamped this scene 3 times and cropped it using a Spellbinders die. Next, I cut out the palms that were cut off by the die and glued them BACK!!!
Images were stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copic Markers! The background was made with a Copic Airbrush. I added in white Highlights with an Inkssentials pen.

What a clever techique (the palm trees) I always wondered how that was done! Thanks for the info and the comments you have made on my cards. You are an inspiration!

Man, I wish I were with the cat in that hammock! What a super card! Gorgeous colors and I love how the palm tree sticks out over the edge. Too cool to use the Spellbinders die with it.
