Grab your finest hat and white gloves for we're off to meet Sabrina (Cook22) in Dublin, Ireland today for da Muddermark's tea party! I am so excited; I've never been to Ireland! Sabrina is so classy and refined that we all need to be on our best behavior today (you got that, Bertie?)
Please make note that you'll definitely want to bring your hat since I understand we're at risk for bird doo-doo in our hair.....blucky, blucky poo-poo!! And, if you forget your hat, you have to come in the back door so we don't embarass Sabrina with any unwanted additions in our elegantly coiffed hairs!
I chose to use this scalloped Spellbinder die to simulate the shape of a hat, and I used Roses in Winter because that is the stamp set that immediately came to mind when I saw the inspiration teapot. My little birdies are from the Love You Much stamp set; I cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals. The speckles are from Petal Pushers. I stamped this pattern on a full sheet of white cardstock so I can use some of it again in future designs.
I hope to see you there
with no bird doo-doo in your hair!

This is just beautiful. I really thought, at first, that you had used designer paper. What a great job. I love how you stamped the sentiment and the sponging is a perfect touch. Let's hope no bird doo-doo gets on this great creation! Hope I get a chance to go to Dublin today. Maybe later.

Hey,you made it. No need for a hat - the pigeons only walk around the patio, so you're fine once you don't go barefoot. I did brush and sweep it this morning, to get it all tidy, and ironed all my best linen table-napkins and second-best linen tablecloth just to put on some style for you. I'm glad you showed this card, because Roses in Winter is still on my desk from yesterday waiting to make a real TPT card with birds on it - but it's not a set I find easy to use. But with yours to model for me...that's a good start.

What a lovely card and the sweet love birds look good right where they are. Beautifuly done Charlene.
Now, try as I might, I want to be good, but there are outside forces that keep me from doing so. Seems I've visited a bad place before coming to the party. Vincent's condo. It's a very classy looking place, but it's in the sewers, yeah, you guessed it. You think that's the reason people don't want my chocolate. LOL

Hey Bertie! What's that in your hair? Oh, sorry....its your hat! Its a little small for your doo, doon't you think? Here, here is my card, its alot bigger than that little thing you have on your head! Just turn it inside out and then no worries cuz the bird doo won't show against the white inside of the card anyway. You might look a goofy but what else is new? Snort!
Okay, I love your special paper you created to house your roses! And its round like some of the buildings here in the Gardens! How cool is that! Your roses arent' in winter anymore! They are hanging with the Doves in beautiful Ireland! So glad you could come again today! Sabrina's lives in a wonderful place, huh!

A perfect card and a perfect hat! Well, I would say you are more than ready for the tea party. Gotta love those birds. Just hope they stay perched on the rose.

Charlene, quick question are all the dots dried up bird poop? lol Just wondering. This is such a gorgeous creation. Love your poopless birdies. Your roses are awesome as is the whole circle card idea. I figured since we were traveling across the pond that this reminded me of the world! A very softly colored world. Awesome job! TFS :0)

That's such a lovely hat, Charlene - but I fear it may not have the fragrance that it started out with - as I fear you have a guest just up from the sewers, and another with two pooping - yes , not cooing Doves!! Well , just so long as you have some M and M's in your frock to calm your jangled nerves with this crowd - I think you'll have a wonderful time!!!
