I whipped this together for DH before we left on vacation and gave it to him while we were camping with family in Oregon. We had our 118th 'lunar'-versary. I had seen many cards with this layout and found it quick and easy to work with by adding texture and 'guy' colors.
The Confetti Cream CS was run through the Big Shot in a Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder then trimmed it down to size. That was layered onto Bravo Burgundy that was layered onto Kraft with sponged edges.
The stamped hearts were stamped-off before stamping over the greeting. Both the scalloped and oval punched pieces were sponged around their edges. I added Kraft Taffeta ribbon and the musical paper clip along with some paper piercing at 2 corners. DH loved this card.
Did you know that you can get straight paper-piercing results combining your ROTARY paper piercing tool with your Scor-Pal? Position area of your CS that is to be pierced over a Scor-Pal track, position and start the rotary paper piercer with the 'knobbies' pressed through the CS and into the Scor-Pal track then 'run' the rotary piercer as far along the track as you need.
