TLC227 burned stardust

Photo Details
Poster: pbvkt

Well, I made a card for Monday's technique challenge, but didn't get around to uploading it until today. Better late then never! Here's the challenge thread with instructions: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=445347

The purple background was made by painting on some white cardstock. I made a purple puddle of acrylic paint and a silver puddle of paint next to each other on a paper plate. Then I took a foam paint brush and picked up purple on one half and silver on the other half of the foam brush. I painted on the cs by making circles with the brush. It made a neat distress-y mat for the stars, I thought.

I just got this stamp set from elemental doodles and wanted to play with it, so instead of a western or vintage theme, I went for burned stardust LOL! Thanks for taking a look!

So cute!!! The sparkle is a great contrast to the ageing technique!
