This card was made for today's Ways to Use it Challenge and Monday's Technique Lover's Challenge
I cut off on of the flaps from my box of SU Catalogs and dampened and peeled off a top layer of cardboard to expose the corrugated surface. I used Tom Bow glue in the valleys of this piece and sprinkled in some small gold beads. The 5" X 7" Dusty Durango card was wheeled with the Rough Texture wheel in Dusty Durango ink and then overstamped with with French Script stamp in Gold Encore ink. I used the faux burnt edges technique from Monday's challenge to finish the torn edges of the main image piece. The floral swirl was first stamped with So Saffron ink and then I reinked the stamp with Dusty Durango ink, but used a crumbled tissue to remove some of that ink from different portions of the stamp. I sponged So Saffron, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa and Black ink on the edges. Edit: I thought the sizing on this card overshwelmed the image a bit, so I cut it into a square and layered it onto a folded black card base.
