Today's challenge was to think OUT OF THE BOX. To make something out of recycled cardboard. This challenge comes at a great time. I have a pile of boxes that I broke down flat and have been saving for awhile. Last week my husband asked if I was saving them for a reason. Well, of course I was. I was planning to make a fantasy box. I have made fantasy boxes before, but it has been awhile. The directions are here: http://www.stubbystampers.com/whatsn...antasybox.html
When I finished my box, I embellished it with butterflies and quilled flowers.
What do you think? It only took me an hour and a half, but I think it was worth it.

You know what, MariLynn? I was going to make one of these last week for the first time. Didn't do it though because the girl I was stamping with that day said she was listening to someone else as that person was making one and there was so much groaning and gnashing of teeth, that she decided it wasn't worth it. Well, I'm gonna do it!! This is so pretty and I'm all for using that free stuff...saves money for all the stuff I want to buy!! :0) I love the pretty papers you used and the dimensional butterflies!!! Fantastic box! Thanks for the inspiration to do this project!!
