I made this card for Cindy's Tuesday Tea Party. We've calmed down a bit after the big anniversary celebration last week and this week, we are "seeing the light" with Cindy's darling teapot nightlight! In fact, our tea party is being held in Hershey Park this week! You've got to check this out: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2009/...see-light.html
Now Cindy's says we are to bring "lite" snacks, but we've already learned that this crowd doesn't go for that! Chocolate? Well, that's another thing altogether! I'm sure there's lots of chocolate to go with our tea at Hershey Park!
Off to find my shades so I won't be blinded by the light!
Thanks, Cindy, for the invite!

Carla, this is delicate and exquisite! I love how you got the little lines. The flowers that you used are gorgeous.(You know I love this set!!) I think I saw some little honey bees flying around your flowers they looked so real. The purple ones are so pretty. I always have a hard time getting that flower in my set to stamp completely. It must need more conditioning. I think you are right about the chocolate. HUGS!!

Glad to see that someone else as well as MariLynn decided to incorporate the lines. I think my crimper is a dud one, so although I thought of it, I dropped the thought equally quickly. I think those gorgeous rich colours you've used would make a great design for a chocolate box - especially with the lovely ribbon, too.

You have many people hunting through drawers today looking for their crimper. Perfect paper for the challenge. Don't let the chocolate melt on this beautiful card.

Hey, what a great idear! A crimper! Why didn't I think of that! Your card is beautiful! The flowers just pop against the light background! Reminds me of the wildflowers in the mountains! I am sure there are mountains at Hershey Park, mountains of chocolate and no, Carla, it is not *lite* chocolate! What was I thinking for heavens sake! Doing a lite challenge and taking it to Hershey Park! Oh brudder!
Yes, I think we have calmed down but you might notice that the rowdy ones have not gotten here yet or they might be swimming in that big tub of Hershey's chocolate syrup I saw when I walked through the gates! I'll go look!

I have a crimper...yep...had to have it....what to do with it???? I knew I needed it...yep... You ask...have I used it....(shaking my head no) NOT. Do I know how to use it...NOT
Can I ask a silly question...do you stamp then crimp or crimp then stamp.
Beautiful card...hope to use my crimper soon...another technique I am writing down.

Carla, this looks just like a really close up picture of the teapot! Wow girl, you done good! I might have chose to use a crimper, but then I'd have to think where I put it and that might have taken all day. Sheesh. I need to get organized someday. Lovely card here. TFS :0)
