I flipped Salster's sketch counter clockwise in order to get a tall picture. I like to pull out colors and designs from the pictures. Tempting turquoise was an obvious color because of the midwife's garments, but I was afraid too much blue would say baby boy plus I didn't want the focus to be on the midwife. I was so delighted to open up this paper pack and find pink with blue highlights..perfect for this baby girl page! I wanted the flower from the paper--is there a stamp that matches it?; so I used a light box to trace and color the flower by hand. As I was coloring, the creative juices were churning and I knew I had to add bling~rhinestones and that mysterious blue bead...the one I found in my 9 month old's mouth. It must be from my 7 year old's craft bin, but it's mine now!
