Our stamping group had an inspiration challenge this month. We were to make a card inspired by some kind of china or dishware. I chose my Evesham dishes, in particular the lid for a casserole that has a pair of pears! I felt I needed to have a lot of white space so I did use textured white cs to enrich that white space. The main panel has one pear that uses paper tole, popping up the pear. The image is water-colored using the ink on the ink pad lids. It's overstamped with the sanded BG in Creamy Caramel and is mounted on Caramel & Perfect Plum with the edge colored with a gold leaf pen to emulate the edge of the plate. The Mellow Moss panels are also edges in gold with another image inked in Moss cut out and pasted onto the panel.
I didn't win the challenge but had fun. Thanks for looking and commenting.
