I hosted a technique class last night and the 2 techniques that we did were Cracked Glass & Re-Inker Spread. We made 2 cards using each technique and also a crimped envelope card that used both techniques! Check my gallery for pictures of each of the projects we made including a close up of the sample on my cracked glass page. It was a fun class!
This crimped envelope card features two gorgeous roses colored using re-inker spread technique. These were made using 3 colors - the new crushed curry in color, pink pirouette & tangerine tango. When these are wet they look pretty ugly but once they dry - gorgeous! I was surprised at how pretty they were after they dried! On the inside the insert features a cracked glass design using fresh cuts! I love how this turned out!
There is a great video tutorial on Patty Bennett's blog, www.pattystamps.typepad.com, showing how to color the rose!
