 | | Jojot challenged us to make a card using both wet and dry embossing on it. I used this darling set from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps , called OWL OCCCASIONS. I had fun making this card. I took Fabriano watercolor paper and cut with my top Note die and ran it through my cuttlebug with the *Twig* folder. Then I took chocolate chip ink and rubbed it over the raised parts. After that I ran the paper through the*Leaves* folder and rubbed old olive ink on it. WOWZER, it sure did POP!!! To make it even more dazzling I then rubbed versamark ink all over the piece and clear embossed it. Twice. So there is my dry and wet embossing, and thanks Joanne for the fun challenge. I colored my sweet owl with prismacolor markers, and added crystal effects to her eyes and her round belly. I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand because something on this card had to be subtle, don't you think? Added Making Memories clear strip along the bottom, an old olive sizzixed branch, along with three jewels. thanks for looking!!!
