This card was really fun to put together. It features a stamp set from Serendipity that I think is just adorable. It has kind of a vintage feel and I wanted to capture that by making the dresses look like real fabric. I went into my digital paper stash and found the perfect papers in a kit called Family Ties by Erica Hite at ScrapGirls. Since they are so small, I reduced the scale so they would look appropriate for these dresses hanging on the line. I printed out three by three squares on Office Depot matte photo paper, stamped the dresses, detailed them with Copics, cut out the images and attached with pop dots to add some dimension.
To continue the vintage theme, I used DP from Graphic 45. Cardstock is prism. Finally, stitching adds a last note of hominess. I was really pleased how this came out. The full recipe is below. Thanks for stopping by.
