This is a double-duty submission for today's Ways to Use It challenge (WT224) to use bold & bright color combinations and yesterday's sketch challenge (SC234).
I couldn't wait to use two of my new stamp sets from The Angel Company, and I thought the bold & bright challenge would work, but now I'm not so sure that I've actually achieved what I'd hoped. I was inspired by the sneak peeks I've been seeing of SU's new In Colors. They made me think of raspberry lemonade, so I used my Palette bella rose, paris lights, and bordeaux. But I think that the way that I used the inks (swiping pads across blank cardstock) made them much more muted, so the result isn't quite the bold & bright that I'd envisioned. At least the yellow is bold (I got that part right). And the new images are fantastic, so that made this card fun to make.
I enjoyed playing along, even if I didn't quite achieve the bold 8 bright part.
Thanks for looking!
Emily

Emily, this looks gorgeous! At first glance I thought you were using SU's new Razzleberry Lemonade paper - I can't believe you MADE this just from swiping your ink pads. I think this card IS bold & bright - reminds me of strawberry or raspberry lemonade. Just lovely.
