Tried yesterday's "Try a New Technique Challenge." I'm not quite happy with my results and I'm sure it's because I need some of those "cut and dry pads" that Lynn spoke of in her post. I don't even know what those are... (anyone?) You can find this challenge along with the instructions for the "blue jean technique" here... Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I guess it turned out alright. Thanks, Neva, for hosting!
Now, if you've made it this far (thanks for reading,) please lift my sweet neice and her family in prayer as we found out on Father's Day that she was 5 weeks expecting her first after being newly married exactly one year. Unfortunately, we were informed yesterday that she lost the baby. My brother and wife (grandparents) are taking it really hard as they live so far away from our beloved newlyweds.
I love how the butterfly is a perfect picture of resurrection. I have no doubt this little babe of ours has flown directly into the arms of Christ. Thank you for your prayers.

So sorry and your family is in my thoughts and prayers. This is a beautiful card. I didn't try this as it sounded like it would be something that I would make a big mess of!
