I threw a baby shower over the weekend for my brother-in-law's girlfriend and decided to make a batch of birth announcements as part of my gift to her. I wanted to keep them simple, so I made postcards. Because of I had to keep them flat, I decided to CASE myself and used this layout/sponging technique. CCC-09 January (LSC205) Branch Out Christmas (SUO & CAS) by ReginaBD at Splitcoaststampers
The postcards are 5.5" by 4.25" pieces of Confetti Cream cs. I made the rectangle template from scrap paper and laid it over the top to sponge in the background with Bermuda Bay ink. I then stamped the giraffe image with Soft Suede ink and added the sentiment with Soft Suede ink, too. I really like the depth you can create on a one-layer card with a little bit of sponging.
The mom-to-be was really excited and happy, so I'm happy, too. TFL - Regina
