I made this quick card for today's IC185 challenge and yesterday's LSC225 "International Flair". Since I come from a Dutch Background, I decided to write Happy Father's Day in Dutch although they don't have a Father's Day in the Netherlands (at least they did not in the past). I am so behind that I never made my husband a Father's Day card! This inspiration was perfect because Scott loves birds! My inspiration piece is http://www.bugalookids.com/product_p/birds123b.html . I was inspired by the bird on a branch and the colors. My blue is a little brighter than the inspiration but I wanted to incorporate the Flock Together paper. The Allegro embossing folder and brad just looked like a perfect match for the them.
No Stamps!
paper- Flock Together, Bitter Chocolate CS, Very Vanilla CS
Accessories- hodgepodge hardware, Offray Chocolate ribbon, brad, Allegro embossing folder, scalloped border punch, circle punch, spiral punch
Thanks for looking!! Hope Scott likes it!! Thanks for the inspiration Stef!! Before looking at the inspiration, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for Scott's card.

This is beautiful. I love the layout, the texture, the colors, the contrast, the ribbon. Ok, I love the whole thing. TFS

Oh so that's how you say Happy fathers day in dutch!
Very pretty birdie, love what you did with both challenges. It's fun to read something you don't know how to pronounce, I love this sketch too. Fun card. TFS
