HereÂ’s a dps I did about the game of Cootie that my DGDs and I play together. ItÂ’s for this weekÂ’s Inspiration Challenge to make a page using yellow. It also covers PeggyÂ’s Variety Challenge to use scallops (I seem to use them a lot!) Although they don't look it here, the pages line up perfectly IRL.
Journaling:
*-You guys always jump at the chance to play games when you come to our house. One of your favorites is Cootie. (It was one of GrandmaÂ’s favorites when she was a girl, but in those days the Cootie bugs were smaller and not as cute.) This was the very first time Jaycie got to play and she was so tickled that she got to throw the die by herself. She didnÂ’t care if she won, she just felt all grown up because she could throw that die!
-IÂ’m not really sure who won this game, but from the look on MadyÂ’s face in the picture at the top, I wouldnÂ’t be surprised if she was the winner!
-No matter who wins when we play, we always have fun—although it sure is a pain trying to get those legs to stay in place and keep the buggie parts all together!!*
When you pull the tab at top left, it reveals hidden journaling showing a photo of the original version of Cootie that I played when I was a kid.
I used markers to draw little cootie bugs around the outside of the journaling on the right page.

Wow! Wow! Oh, did I say that already? I love this DPS. The colors are so fun and I love the PP you combined with the yellow cardstock and the touches of green. Great job.
