I saw this sketch last week and thought is was GREAT, but have not been able to play do to our little dog falling ill. :( I get to pick him up today (HOORAY! He still has a long recovery process but HOORAY!) and thought this layout was perfect to make a card to thank the caring vet and his staff who have cared for him while he was in the hospital.
The little dog in the center is courtesy of Eat Cake Graphics, and is the only stamp that I have seen that really looks close to my little mixed breed's real appearance (thank you Holly!). The vet and nurse are from Doctor Hanna by Hanna Stamps, and the Charles Schulz quote is from a retired SU set called "Puppy Love". All images were stamped on Gina K.'s awesome luxury cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The puppy in the center is raised with Pop It's.
This card is evidence that I am making good on fulfilling one of my crafting resolutions to stop hoarding and use the good stuff, because life is short.
Hope my vet and his gentle staff will like the card (and the baked goods that will accompany it). Hope you do too - thanks for looking, and thanks to all of you who have been praying for my little furbaby!

So glad that your pup is doing better!!! Does he look as happy as the one on the card yet? Hope so!!! Such a cute card! I know your heart really went into this one! It's so cute!! Great goal too, of using what you have and not hoard...I'm trying :0) It's really hard sometimes. Found myself buying more *stuff* yesterday while I was in town. To my credit, most of it was for a specific purpose and will be used right away!

Meredith, this card is fabulous!! I love all of the special supplies you used on it. The images (and your coloring of them) are great!! Super job on this sketch, too. Everything is so well coordinated and balanced, too (love your use of the brads to achieve this!!). Wonderful job--I'm sure your vet and staff were touched by this handmade masterpiece!!
