Well, it's been a while, non! Maxie is back. So happy to have her, I missed her all winter. She wouldn't tell me where she was all that time. Knowing her, she didn't want to hurt my feelings. Was she in Seattle, sipping Starbucks coffees with Terri or in Australia, singing opera for Linda alone or did she just fly to California and ride horses with Pat, I know Pat LOVES horses! I don't really care, she's here now and we are "good" together.
Yep, and she is more than cute today, she is wearing this beautiful prima and adorning a matching necklace too. But be not fooled by her attire, for Maxie can get down and dirty and play in the dirt. She is gardening with me today, you see, she even got her gardening tools. She wouldn't touch them unless we spruced them all up by "dipping". Used some beautiful DP from one of Anne Ryan's numerous raks. ( she might have visited Anne at the clinic too, she I've seen this coin that says "sober for 30 days fall from her bag, lol). We quickly reminisced over coffee about all you girls, from Crystal to Sue, Deborah to Darla, Suleika to Nancyruth and sweet Deena too. I forgot she had even went to Oregon to visit Susan, seems they had a wonderful time on new year's eve too. What beautiful memories of you she has. MERCI, she says with teary eyes. Awww, that Maxie! You gotta lover her. I need to get ready, we are having lunch today at "Chez Pierre" of all places. In the words of our handsome Humphrey, Bogart that is: "Here's looking at you, kids!"
Thanks for looking and if you had the patience to read this, I love you.

What a fun story! Maxie sure gets around! Love the chic hat you pieced and the flower! Pretty paper! Yes, gardening is the thing right now! I've scrubbed my hands three times with a brush and they were clean, but now that I am at work, I see the dirt around the ridges of my nails.......not too impressive for a health care worker!

Quelle imagination tu as! This is lovely. Maxie is so versatile. Here she looks like she is squinting to keep the sunlight out of her eyes as she takes a break from gardening.
