These little piggies really wanted to come to the barnyard teaparty last week, but they just couldn't make it!!! So they are sneaking in the BACK DOOR at Cindy's party this week!!! Check it out here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
I just couldn't resist the teaparty this week!! Butt cards are sooooo fun!! I thought about making a card last week using this picture, but I was just too busy. I have other things I should be doing now too, but I just could help myself, since we could show butts this week!! I mean, how often does that happen???
The piggie butts are a picture that I took quite a few years ago. To make a REALLY long story short, my dad has land that he was trying to rezone from agricultural to residential. It is smack in the middle of all residential, and shouldn't have been a problem, but the city was giving him a hard time of it. SO.... since the land was agricultural, he brought in about 75 pigs. It was such a FUN summer with those pigs. I have a million pictures. It was a really big deal here... tv news reporters, newspapers, tourists.... Oh, my dad had so much fun!! We all did. Ok, so that wasn't very short of a story.
So I printed this picture onto textured white cardstock. I didn't want the card to have a glossy photo on it. The words were made with Quickutz. Outside of card: no BUTTS about it...
Inside of card: You're a Great Friend!
I haven't kept up with the teaparty happenings today... hope nothing got TOO out of hand!! Oh, I know Cathy brought a donkey... hope my pigs get along ok with him!!
TFL!!

Hey Kris! You win in the butt department! No butts about it!
Darn it! You musta come to the party after I went to bed! Yes, how rude that the hostess goes to bed in the middle of the party! But, Japan is a long trip and I had to get here first to get the low down on the big fat guy in a white diaper! Sorry I snoozed!
I would read you my disclaimer but something tells me these piggies will eat their way into the circle and won't be a problem when confronted by the big fat quy in a white diaper! I wonder if pigs loose weight when they eat sushi, it bet not considering the sheer volume of sushi on the floor! At least we don't have to hire a clean-up crew when we leave! What great thinking on your part!
This card is a kick! What a wonderful story about your dad and his pigs! Just think as you raise your grand kids, night after night, you will hear them say, Granny, can you tell us about the summer of pigs again! Snort! Hey a snort sounds great with this story! Snort!
I am so glad you took the time to make this card. It simply rocks this challenge and so do you! Get your stuff done will ya! We want you back on a regular basis! Thanks for coming!

My goodness, what a perfect picture! I think Kelly's spotted mug is another carryover from last week. I like the look of the photo printed on the textured card.

Kris, I am so glad that you got to come to the teaparty. Your piggy card is so cute. I loved the story of your dad and the pigs. My husband I raised 5 hogs when we lived in Illinois. That once was enough for me!! (Especially when he went over the road trucking and left me at home with 4 kids. I wasn't about to be raising hogs on top of that!!)

Great card, great picture and great story. I can't believe the one piggy had the nerve to come to the party with a dirty butt. I guess that why they call them pigs. This is just too stinkin' (litterally) cute.

KRIS! You are starting to be a regular at the back door...your cards are getting very saucy! THIS IS TOO MUCH! And your Dad sounds like a laugh riot...did he get the correct zoning after 75 pigs mucked up the neighborhood?! Love the touch of gingham that you knew would catch my eye!!
