I start to look forward to this challenge on Sunday nights, knowing that it comes out every tues. I am so glad I don't work on Tuesdays!! LOL I made this card for my daughter's 2nd grade teacher...she has been wonderful this year~!
So here I am showing up at the front door, taking the high road... no "butts" here. However, I really did want to make a Butt card, but just couldn't come up with one... and I make enough "Butt ugly" cards as it is without trying to make one... so Here is my Green tea card.
The writing up in the corner... not sure if it is Chinese or Japanese. But it has the Asian look.
I am ready to jump into the tea party with donkey's, butts, sumo wrestler's, etc. Let's have some Delicious Green Tea. Or get drunk on Sake!

Hey Maureen! So glad you are here. I wondered if you felt up to making a card! But you're here! I feel like I should make a recording of this but I need to give you my disclaimer! Since I have been waiting for you all to arrive on the terrace, this is what I have learned:
WHATEVER you do, DON'T step foot in the big circle right there. See that big circle? Cuz if you do, that big fat quy in the diaper will push you out, almost as soon as you step in and some times its sorta violent! He might be our host today but his has an attitude as big as his belly! Shhh! Here he comes!!
I can so see the teapot in this card! If your daughter's teacher only knew what inspired this card for her! Snort! Betcha she would be able to shed some light on the unidentified tea pot parts! We need to keep a lid on the activities happening at the tea party, sushi flinging, slipping and sliding in the circle on slimy sushi and well, the Saki consumption. Last thing we want is your daughter's school mates getting the low down on what a tea party might entail! Snort!
Thanks so much for coming. I been looking for you! This card will be a big hit at school!

Your caillgraphic letter makes me think of a little lantern up in the corner - as if one had come off Mutnik's card and landed on yours. I like the leaf spray and that lovely little teapot tag.

Very nice card...I love this one also...I think you have a great imagination like our host....Cindy....she comes up with the crazyiest tea parties...and you know what ..I love coming each week. You were right when you were telling me about the tea parties. I am glad I decided to come. This week I was thinking like a mom and hoping nobody got hurt...so Nurse Nellie came along.

I hope the kids are feeling better. This card is lovely. I like the way you wrapped the ribbon and twine on the left side. I like how you have the little teapot on a tag. The acetate part looks really neat.

So many cards were posted last evening and I just got on to catch up. This is definitely NOT butt-ungly. Green tea is one of my favorite DSPs. Love it.

Hi, Maureen! I don't think we've officially met. I'm sorry I missed ya at the tea party last night, but Schirmcat was spikin' the tea with sake and, well, you might well imagine what happens when you drink too much sake. It was lights out fer me!
Yer card is absolutely beautiful! I agree with da Muddermark that ya might not wantin' to be tellin' the teach what inspired ya to make this beautiful card.

What a pretty card! I love the colors and DP you used! And the teapot tag is great! You made sure you could come in through the front door with this lovely card! Glad you could come to the party! Beware of the rowdy partygoers!
