Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Faux Handmade Paper. This is done by dabbing acrylic paint onto card stock with toilet paper. As the paint is dabbed, the tp pills and gets stuck in the paint for a "homemade" look.
Okay...this is a technique I hadn't tried before, so I didn't understand that you had to use...well..John Wayne Toliet Paper. You know what I'm talking about! It's rough and tough and doesn't take (insert a MARKIE word here!) off no one. I tried the Charmain that DOESN'T pill up...That is the WRONG stuff to use! So, I went out to the camper and grabbed the JWTP. I used Stampin' Up! CRAFT re-fills! It worked PERFECTLY! And, the ENCORE copper works, too!
The butterfly was stamped in VersaMark and embossed in copper. It was colored in with Copic Markers, cut out and popped onto the sentiment panel.
