I don't often get to make two challenge cards, especially not the same day. I think I'm procrastinating - have to get the guest room ready for a friend of DH's arriving tomorrow.
I've always liked the Primas with script printed on them, though I think I should have used a darker ink on these.
Again I cut some Core'dinations with the Blossom Nestabilities. I stamped them with Hero Arts Old French Writing and Tim Holtz Vintage Photo. Crumpled them up a bit, sponged them with Antique Linen and sewed them together with a button. I should have done the gold edging then, but I'd hoped the distress ink would be enough.
The base is A2 covered with HOTP Sarapapers. I was going to use some real lace, but the scrap of paper lace trimmed from some Sassafrass Lass paper has been on my desk for a LONG time, it was good to use it. I sponged some leaf trim with Brilliance Thyme to make it a better match, stuck it on and then edged the whole card with gold ink and gold EP. That was when I decided I needed to edge the flower in gold too...Some gold Dew Drops and a few little ladybirds finish it off. There were loads of greenfly on my parsley when I went to pick it this evening, I could do with a few ladybirds myself.

Sabrina, this is awesome! That flower looks like it is an expensive fabric flower! I wasn't too interested in making these flowers, but you've made me a believer! I love the gold edging and the lace border. Love the brad in the center of the flower too , and the cute little lady bugs are the crowning touch!!
