ith my warped sense of humor, I find it humorous to combine a serious image with a not-so-serious sentiment. Case in point, this card that I created using the boat image from Gina K's Lazy Days of Summer, which is free when you purchase any 3 other stamp sets. I colored my boat with Copic markers, and then airbrushed a blue/pink sky. I thought that the stripes would make a nice panel to go along with my nautical theme. These stripes and other great images perfect for borders or backgrounds can be found in the Ribbon Stripes set.
The sentiment was one that I have had in my stash forever, but hadn't yet used, mainly because I didn't have an image that would fit, until now. I think we have all thought, "I hope my ship comes in before my dock rots". HA! Gotta love a little sarcasm.

Love your color combo, striped background with the boat image and, most of all, I love the sentiment. Made me laugh out loud as I read it and I'm still giggling! A wonderful card!!
