This is the first time I have participated in a blog challenge. But, I love doing sketch cards so here is my take on the sketch using "Mona Lisa" for the focal point. Here is a link to the sketch challenge that my card is for..
I stamped then colored and cut out the image and layered it on a piece of pattern paper after using deckle scissors to trim this layer. I then made an ATC size layer and wrapped it in satin, stitched ribbon and added a sentiment, prima flowers with a brad, and a decorative button with a brad.
For the card, I inked the base and used a corner punch to add decoration to the 4 corners, then used the same pattern paper and added 4 brads in the corners to wrap some trim around (to follow the sketch) and also added a couple strips of natural twill that I inked with a little distress ink. After adhering this layer, I then added the ATC card to the card base to complete the card.
Mona Lisa stamp is from Viva Las Vegas stamps and sentiment is Just Rite stampers self inking stamp.
