Amber let us off easy this week after a brutal sketch with a twist last week - thank you, Amber!! Love this sketch and will definitely use it again as there are countless options.
This week's twist is to use something new, a great way to dig into those things you've been hording or haven't used yet. I used the MS Daisy punch I bought some time ago and have never used (like it better now that I've layered it), some larger brads (I know, I'm slow on the ball as these have been around forever it seems) and some ribbon from another ribbon bin diving expedition at Mike's.
The card colours were based from the ribbon and after the brutal heat wave we've had this past week, I think I have blue on the brain as it reminds me of water -- something I would have loved to have been swimming in this week to cool off!!
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

There's that image of you upside-down in the ribbon bin again!!! (I think I have a spool of that ribbon somewhere in my 'room'...) Beautiful card - love the piercing and the layered daisies on the cb'd background. So you've got brutal heat in BC - not here - we hit a high of 5C today!!! UGH...
