Very simple and quick card. Started with watercolor paper that I saturated with water, then sponged with inks. Over stamped turtle from SU Nature's Prints set. Cut the image out, which left some extra sponged watercolor paper. I cut that into strips and attached the turtle and the strips to (you guessed it) SU whisper white cardstock. Then stamped the sentiment ("life's a journey") and it was done. It took about 30 minutes from start to finish, including deciding on theme and colors, as well as clean up.

I followed your process for creating this card right up until the "clean up". What is this you are talking about???
Seriously, I LOVE this card, and I want to try making a background like that. I have never wet paper before. I love the colors you used, and the turtle stamped in black. Great card!!

Liked your water color paper and the image worked well with it. I'm all for simple. Had to laugh at the comment Kris made. You must be more organized than the rest of us, Gail!

Not really that organized, but I have soooo much stamping stuff and soooo little room that I have to put things away or I'll lose my mind. If I ever get my guest bed cleaned off, I'll have to take a picture of it-- I've forgotten what it looks like!

I really like the way your main image and paper strips turned out using your sponging, it's so cute! I've never tried that before, thanks for the great idea.
