Our son wants to be a farmer when he grows up and requested a birthday card from this Whipper Snapper "Farm Boy" image months ago. His birthday finally arrived last week . . . .
I colored the image with Copic markers and shaded the sunny area with a Prismacolor pencil and Gamsol. The edges of the main image were sponged with Creamy Caramel ink, and I used the ruler and tracing wheel around all the edges for the faux stitching. The sentiment is from Whipper Snapper's "29 Again" cling set and the fabric brad is from Marlien for my birthday (thank you, Marlien!).
Have a great day!

Shellie this is terrific. I am so proud of him for wanting to be a farmer. My dad is a farmer of 50 years. Love your coloring. The brad is perfect for this card. Super job.

Very sweet card. I like how you centered the image on the diamond print. It almost makes you feel like half was red on cream and the other half was cream on red. Also like the way the chicken feed seems to pop. You choose the perfect color. Hope you let your future farmer get his hands in the dirt. Sounds like you have a fine boy and he has a nice Mom who makes him cool cards.

Shellie, this is a wonderful card for Ryan! Perfect for an 8 year old boy that wants to be a farmer! I bet he loved it That faux stitching looks amazing, as does your coloring (do I sound like a broken record about that???)!!
